Dr. Theobald teaches courses on geographic information systems and science, the spatial analysis of protected areas, and applications of landscape ecology. Dave conducts research on landscape change, conservation planning, and accessibility related to recreation use, especially in the Rocky Mountain West. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Dimensions of Natural Resources and a Research Scientist at the Natural Resource Ecology Lab in the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University.
